About Me

I’m a mother of two who gets really tired of all these super happy blogs, where life is perfect and the kids are perfect and it all seems like la la land. So I decided I would write this blog about the ups and downs of my real life adventure on this mommy trip.

I love to read. Reading is my favorite thing to do. I always have several books going at once of different genres.  I also like to write.  I want to share my history and experiences.  I also want to capture my life in a format that my kids will be able to read one day, I want them to know my history & I am too much of a perfectionist to keep a journal.  I am uber organized hence the name of my blog.  I have two kids, countless pets and I used to live abroad.  I left the corporate world about 7 years ago to work part time and focus on my kids and my household. Faith  & service are very important to me and I am very active in my church, children’s school and financial club.I also wanted a chance to blog about pre-eclampsia and preemies which are topics very near and dear to me.

I want my blog to just be- no advice, just my experiences and you can take from it what you may.  Like a true Type A I love office supplies, calendars and excel sheets!!

— Arnold Bennett

  1. hihi! When I stumbled upon your blog from the book club, I was momentarily taken back cos our blogs are identical in appearance ;p But I am very much unlike you- of course! ;>- as being organised is an alien concept I am still trying to internalise. We share a similar goal though- to be debt free. Looking forward to reading more of your blog ;D

    1. Thanks for the comment. It’s hard to be so organized in most things, but not with debt control. But I am really hoping to button down and be on my debt free path this year!!

  2. Just came upon your blog….love it…can’t tear myself away…keep up the great work!

    1. Thank you so much. 🙂

  3. I love your post. Reading your blog inspires me. I just started blogging and I hope to acheive the knowledge and dedication to life that you have. I am still trying to figure out my goal and purpose of blogging. Any tips you can offer would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Christina

    1. Thank you. I was looking at your blog and I think it’s good. Like you I just try to write about things that are important to me in my life. I figure even if I’m the only one who reads it, at least it’s out there. I mainly just try to write down any ideas I have and try to work a theme from that. I have paper and notes everywhere. Like most people my best ideas usually come at night, when I’m almost asleep! I also find that if you blog a few times a week, it gets you in a habit and gets your blog out there. I also subscribe to lots of different blogs to see what other people like to read and blog about. Good Luck. Thanks for the comment 🙂

  4. Thank you for the advice.

  5. reading your posts is enjoying
happy to hear someone is counting her blessings
it’s great that you have that skills in organizing
because some more is coming 🙂
